    Este artículo analiza los acontecimientos históricos más significativos del uso del espacio geográfico de la comuna de Pirque, en particular en aquellas zonas o sectores del llano y márgenes de los cursos fluviales. Para ello se hace un recorrido histórico desde la colonización y agrarización de la cuenca de Santiago para relacionarlo, a continuación, con los antecedentes prehispánicos en Pirque, su colonización y sus transformaciones en el territorio desde los siglos XIX y primera mitad del XX. Posteriormente, se analizan los cambios ocurridos durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX, pre reforma agraria y post reforma agraria, hasta el siglo XXI, que han resultado ser los más intensos y efectivos en la construcción del paisaje actual.

    This article analyzes the most significant historical events of the use of the geographical space of the commune of Pirque, in particular in those zones or sectors of the plain and margins of the fluvial courses. To do this, a historical tour is made from the colonization and agrarization of the Santiago basin to relate it, then, to the prehispanic antecedents in Pirque, its colonization and its transformations in the territory from the nineteenth and first half of the XX. Next, we analyze the changes that occurred during the second half of the twentieth century, pre-agrarian reform and post-agrarian reform, to the twenty-first century, which have proved to be the most intense and effective in the construction of the current landscape.
