In the following pages, a study will be carried out that starts from the main investigations occupied in the history of the Christian presence in Guadix. All this, will be contrasted with an updated analysis of the archive documentation on this issue. The objective is to establish a study on the origins of the historical parishes of this city, through the aspects and conditions of its historical and artistic evolution
