Resumen de El humanismo literario y la novelística de Lee Byeong-Ju

Este artículo analiza el carácter humanista en la obra narrativa de Lee Byeong-Ju (1921- 1992). A partir de la relación entre humanismo y literatura hacia el contexto de la narrativa hispanoamericana contemporánea, que tuvo su origen en el género del periodismo y del testimonio, el presente estudio destaca la figura de Lee Byeong-Ju, el primer escritor coreano en combinar el periodismo con la literatura, en su narrativa histórica y testimonial del periodo de la dominación japonesa sobre Corea, y bajo la dictadura militar de los años sesenta.

This article analyzes the humanistic character in the novels of Lee Byeong-Ju (1921-1992).
Following on from the relation between humanism and literature towards the context of the contemporary Latin American narrative, which had originated in the genre of journalism and testimony, the present study will emphasize the figure of Lee Byeong-Ju, who was the first Korean writer to combine the journalism with the literature, into his historical and testimonial narrative of the period of Japanese domination over Korea, and under the military dictatorship during the 1960s.
