Resumen de Conciencia Fonológica como predictor de la lectura al inicio de la escolaridad en contextos de pobreza

El presente artículo muestra los resultados derivados de un estudio correlacional causal que busca determinar factores psicolingüísticos tempranos que se relacionan y predicen de mejor manera el aprendizaje de la lectura en una muestra de 100 niños de primer grado de primaria en condición de pobreza. Los niños fueron evaluados al inicio del primer grado en diversas habilidades fonológicas predictivas y luego en lectura al finalizar el mismo grado. Los resultados señalan que la segmentación silábica, identificación de rimas y el reconocimiento del primer fonema de las palabras predicen significativamente el rendimiento de la lectura al finalizar el primer grado de primaria.

The present article shows the results derived from a study correlational causal that seeks to determine psycholinguistic early factors that relate and predict of better way the learning of the reading in a sample of 100 children of the first degree of primary in condition of poverty. The children were evaluated to the beginning of the first degree in diverse phonological predictive skills and then in reading on having finished the same degree. The results indicate that the syllabic segmentation, identification of heaps and the recognition of the first phoneme of the words predict significantly the performance of the reading on having finished the first degree of primary.
