Resumen de Conectar Igualdad: representaciones del mercado en el uso y en las apropiaciones que hacen los jóvenes de las netbooks

  El presente trabajo es producto de la tesis de grado realizada por las autoras, la cual tuvo por objetivo indagar en los usos y en las apropiaciones que hacen los jóvenes de las netbooks otorgadas por el Programa Conectar Igualdad (pci). A través de la observación participante y no participante, de encuestas y de una serie de entrevistas, se indagó acerca del uso que realizan los jóvenes de las netbooks en su vida cotidiana: la frecuencia con que las emplean, los lugares de uso y la interacción con otros actores. En el artículo se desarrolla y se profundiza en dos de las conclusiones obtenidas, que refieren a cómo los jóvenes piensan el mercado y cuáles son las significaciones que le otorgan.

  The present work is a product of the thesis of degree realized by the authoresses, which had for aim investigating in the uses and in the appropriations that the young persons do of the netbooks granted by the Public Policy Conectar Igualdad (pci in spanish). By means of participant and non-participant observation, surveys and a series of interviews, attempted to inquire how youngters use and incorporate the netbooks into their daily life: how often they use them, where and the kind of interaction they have with other actors. In the article it develops and one penetrates into two of the obtained conclusions, which recount to how the young persons think the market and which are the significances that they grant him.
