Resumen de Algunos documentos esenciales sobre la reina Blanca de Navarra, esposa de Enrique IV de Castilla

  Se publican y estudian tres documentos, conservados en Simancas, de la vida de la reina Blanca de Navarra y su esposo (1440) Enrique IV de Castilla. El primero es el «Compromiso de matrimonio» entre ellos (1436), que solo existe en una copia notarial coetánea. El contrato ofrece datos históricos importantes sobre la paz alcanzada entre Castilla y Navarra, contexto del matrimonio. El segundo documento es la «Sentencia de divorcio» entre ambos (1453), hecho causado porque la reina, después de trece años de matrimonio, no había tenido descendencia. El tercero es la «Donación hecha por Blanca del reino de Navarra a Enrique IV» (1462), pues a ella le correspondía por la muerte de su hermano Carlos (Príncipe de Viana).

  Hiru agiri argitaratu eta aztertzen dira, Simancasen gordeta daudenak. Nafarroako Zuria erreginaren eta haren senar (1440) Gaztelako Enrike IV.aren bizitzari buruzkoak dira. Lehena da haien arteko «Ezkon-hitza» (1436), bakarrik garai hartako notario-kopia batean duguna.   Three documents, kept in Simancas, on the life of Queen Blanca of Navarre and her husband (1440) Enrique IV of Castile are published and studied. The first is their «Betrothal document» (1436), which only exists in the form of a coetaneous notarised copy. The agreement offers important historical details regarding the peace reached between Castile and Navarre, the context in which they wed. The second document is the «Divorce judgment» by which their marriage was dissolved (1453), the queen failing to bear offspring after 13 years of marriage. The third is «Blanca’s donation of the Kingdom of Navarre to Henry IV» (1462), the throne falling to her following the death of her brother Charles (Prince of Viana).
