El Entorno Virtual de Aprendizaje (EVA) en la Generación de Conocimiento de Estudiantes Universitarios

    La Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE), en su actividad de formación utiliza el llamado “Paradigma Pedagógico Ignaciano”,el cual utiliza de la multiplicidad de enfoques pedagógicos al constructivismo. La investigación parte conceptualmente del aprendizaje individual (AI) dentro del Entorno Virtual de Aprendizaje (EVA), donde para contribuir a la generación del conocimiento se debe presentar un diálogo didáctico mediado bi y multidireccional profesor–estudiante. Este trabajo estudia el nivel de desarrollo cognitivo en los estudiantes de la PUCE Ambato presente por la utilización del EVA. El estudio es cualitativo - descriptivo, que utiliza la metodología de Investigación acción participativa, en el cual se analiza y triangula información del uso de la plataforma por parte de docentes y discentes; y la recopilada a través de cuestionarios y entrevistas aplicadas a la población analizada. El principal resultado determina que el modelo de generación de conocimiento en los estudiantes universitarios es el difuso, ya que se evidencia mayor volumen de acumulación de información y adquisición de conocimiento, y no se presenta transmisión ni generación del mismo.

    The Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE), develops its educational activity of articulated comprehensive training in the "Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm" which uses among others approaches, the Constructivist. This research is based on the individual learning (IL) using the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) where it is necessary to generate a didactic bi-mediated communication between the professor and the student. The research analizes the cognitian development of the students at PUCE in Ambato throughthe use of the VLE. This study is qualitative – descriptive using as methodology the participation of the students in which there is the analysis of the use of the VLE by professors and students. In addition, this research has collected information through questionnaires and interviews to determine the levels of use of the VLE. The main result determines that the model of knowledge generation in university students is diffuse, since there isevidence of a greater volume of information accumulation and acquisition of knowledge, without presenting transmission or generation of the same
