  La historiografía ha puesto en marcha, a lo largo del finales del siglo XIX y durante todo el siglo XX, un poderoso andamiaje de construcción teórica y desarrollos prácticos de muy distinta entidad, cubriendo la totalidad del espectro político, cultural y social. En ese espacio múltiple, los estudios sobre mujeres y su acción, bien sea individualizada o colectiva, representan un reto que, por su incuestionable dimensión moral y política además de teórica, ya no resulta posible eludir sin deterioro para el conjunto de la profesión.

  The historiography has launched, along the end of the nineteenth century and throughout the twentieth century, a powerful scaffolding of theoretical construction and practical developments of very different entity, covering the whole spectrum political, cultural and social. In that multiplicity, the studies on women and their action, well individualized or collective, are a challenge that, because its unquestionable moral and political dimension, in addition to theoretical, it is not possible to neglect without prejudice to the profession.
