    Las comunidades de pueblos indígenas están atravesando un creciente proceso de urbanización que traccionaría, según algunos estudios, hacia el abandono de su cultura. Simultáneamente, se observa que migrantes indígenas internos asentados en territorio urbanos realizan un esforzado proceso de lucha para evitarlo. La llegada a la ciudad desencadena demandas de educación intercultural bilingüe dirigidas hacia el Estado. Lo que aquí se presenta forma parte de los hallazgos, focalizados en la noción de interculturalidad y educación intercultural bilingüe (EIB).

    Several studies suggest that indigenous communities are undergoing a process of urbanization which could lead to the abandonment of their culture. I conducted a study in Rosario City and there I found that the Qom migrants strive to prevent the loss of their culture. They claim that the State provide schools that respect their culture in the form of Intercultural Bilingual Education. Based on the case study, this article discusses the notions of interculturalism and Intercultural Bilingual Education.
