    El objetivo de este artículo es examinar las prácticas de ciudadanía de los migrantes bolivianos y paraguayos en lucha por la vivienda, residentes en las villas de la ciudad. El reclamo por la vivienda fue elegido como eje de análisis y el relato etnográfico como camino a través del cual describir la conformación de los grupos y redes de reclamos a los cuales se afilian los migrantes: villeros y vecinos de la ciudad. Centrando el análisis en las pujas a nivel municipal y barrial por el derecho al hábitat y a la participación en la vida pública, se prestará especial atención, por un lado, a las estrategias cotidianas de los migrantes y sus implicaciones en la deconstrucción de las fronteras de la nacionalidad y, por el otro, a la reinstauración de dichas fronteras y los mecanismos que inhabilitan la participación de los migrantes en tiempos de contienda electoral. AbstractThe aim of this paper is to examine the citizenship practices of Bolivians and Paraguayans in struggle for housing, living in the slums of the city migrants. The demand for housing was chosen as the focus of analysis and ethnographic account as a path through which describe the formation of groups and networks which claims to join migrants: slum dwellers and residents of the city. Focusing the analysis on the bids at the municipal and neighborhood level for the right to housing and participation in public life, receive particular attention, first, to the daily strategies of migrants and their implications for the deconstruction of borders nationality and on the other, to the restoration of the frontier and the mechanisms that disable the participation of migrants in times of elections.
