    En este artículo se analiza la evolución histórica de Siles durante la II República, la Guerra Civil y la Posguerra, utilizando para ello, como base documental principal, la Causa General y las actas de su ayuntamiento, debiendo considerarse este estudio como un avance de una investigación más exhaustiva que estoy desarrollando en la actualidad.

    This paper outlines the historic evolution of Siles during the Second Spanish Republic, the Spanish Civil War and the Postwar Period. The main historical documentary sources used were the Causa General and the town hall proceedings. The content of this article can be considered as the insight of forthcoming and more in-depth research that I am carrying out at the moment.
