America is a powerful philosophical idea. The first three hundred years of its civilization are identified with Hispanic America.
The appearance of a new geographical and anthropological reality with which the biosphere is totalized is incorporated into history through the institutions of the Spanish Catholic crown. We intend to show how its meaning, whatever is Hispanic America, fully affects ideas of great philosophical depth such as the idea of reality, of phenomenon, science, universal history or Humanity. So much so that, the ways of understanding the relationship between Spain and America are coordinated with the basic ordinations of the history of philosophy.
