Resumen de «Ser o no ser» en cabo Busto (Asturias, España): sobre la integridad de los medios edáficos en arqueología

En este trabajo se presenta un avance del estudio de la industria lítica del yacimiento al aire libre de Cabo Busto (Valdés, Asturias), desde una perspectiva tafonómica. De este modo, se apunta una posible hipótesis e interpretación del conjunto lítico que hoy conforma el nivel II de este yacimiento, que representa uno de los ejemplos más característicos a la hora de analizar la problemática de los yacimientos paleolíticos cantábricos en medios edáficos.

In this paper we present a study of the lithic industries of Cabo Busto open-air site (Valdés, Asturias), from a taphonomic perspective. Thereby, we consider a possible hypothesis and interpretation of the lithic assemblage that forms the level II of this site, which represents one of the most characteristic examples to analyze the problems of Cantabrian Palaeolithic sites in edaphic contexts.
