Resumen de Maturidade viso-motora e inteligência: um estudo correlacional

  This study investigated the relationship between intelligence and the visual-motor maturity. DFH- Sisto scale and the Test of Bender by the gradual punctuation system (B-SPG) had been collectively administered to 244 students (50% boys) whose ages ranged from 7 to 10 years, eight years average (DP=1,08) and who attended from the first to the fourth grade of an elementary public school of the interior of the State of São Paulo. The figures of the Bender Test were projected to the blackboard so that they could be copied by the children. Negative and significant correlations between the scores of both tests in relation to genders and ages were formed. It was concluded that the Gestaltic Test gives an estimation of the intellectual capacity of children.

  Este estudo investigou as relações entre a inteligência e a maturidade viso-motora. Foram aplicados o DFH-escala Sisto e o Teste de Bender, pelo sistema de pontuação gradual (B-SPG), em 244 alunos, sendo 50% meninos com idades de 7 a 10 anos, média de oito anos (DP=1,08), que cursavam da primeira à quarta série do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública do interior do Estado de São Paulo. Os testes foram aplicados coletivamente, sendo que, no caso do Bender, as figuras foram projetadas no quadro para que pudessem ser copiadas pelas crianças. Foram evidenciadas correlações negativas e significativas entre os escores dos testes em ambos os sexos e nas idades. concluiu-se que o Teste Gestáltico forneceu uma estimativa das capacidades intelectuais de crianças.
