Resumen de La innovación en el comercio exterior de San Luis Potosí

  El objetivo del presente trabajo es encontrar el nivel de incidencia de la innovación en el comercio exterior en el estado de San Luis Potosí (S.L.P)a partir de tres variables: investigación y desarrollo (I+D), inversión extranjera directa (IED) y conducta tecnológica. El estudio se realizó a partir de un análisis cualitativo dada la falta de información estadística que permita un análisis cuantitativo significativo. El estudio se llevó a cabo a partir de entrevistas con preguntas semiestructuradas a un panel de expertos de tres sectores del estado de S.L.P: académico, gubernamental y privado con las que se analizó la forma en la que la innovación incide en el comercio exterior en San Luis Potosí. Los resultados muestran que la innovación no forma parte significativa del desarrollo del comercio exterior en la entidad y por tanto, es más vulnerable a cambios políticos internacionales que limiten el comercio con los principales socios comerciales actuales.

  The objective of the present research is to find the level of incidence of innovation on the foreign trade in San Luis Potosí based on three variables: Research & Development (R&D), Foreign Direct Investment (IED) and technological conduct. The study was based in a qualitative approach given the lack of statistical information that would allow a meaningful quantitative analysis. The study was carried out from interviews with semi-structured questions made to a panel of experts of three sectors: academic, governmental and private. The information obtained was analyzed with Atlas TI in order to understand the way that innovation impacts on foreign trade in San Luis Potosí. Results show that innovation has not played an important role in the performance of foreign trade in San Luis Potosí therefore, the State is more susceptible to international political changes that limit trade with the main current trading partners
