    Mediante el análisis de la movilidad turística en la Isla de Lanzarote se pretende establecer el impacto ambiental en términos de emisiones de CO2 del sistema de acceso al Parque de Timanfaya y sus implicaciones para el desarrollo sostenible de la Isla. El uso excesivo del automóvil privado en la movilidad turística en la Isla requiere reequilibrarla con el uso de modos de transporte más sostenibles. Esto se realiza mediante el diseño de un Autobús turístico que permita acceder al Parque de manera rápida y eficiente. Finalmente, se resalta las principales características del sistema de movilidad en la Isla y se propone alternativas al modelo actual.

    This paper evaluates the impact of road transport usage in accessing the Timanfaya Natural Park on Lanzarote Island in terms of CO2 emissions and its implications for sustainable tourism development. The excessive car use for tourist mobility on the island requires the need to balance the use of more sustainable transport modes. This is done through the design of a tourist bus that allows access to the Park quickly and efficiently. Finally, it highlights the main features of the system of mobility in the island and proposed alternatives to the current model.
