Resumen de Viva o povo brasileiro: interface entre literatura e história

  Este artigo analisa a figura dos negros no Brasil através da representação literária do romance Viva o povo brasileiro (1984), de João Ubaldo Ribeiro. O romance apresenta a formação das raízes do povo brasileiro, recontando e estabelecendo uma crítica à história do país. Nessa perspectiva, analisa-se as marcas ficcionais e históricas que caracterizam o negro no romance, estabelecendo a relação intertextual por meio dos episódios romanescos com os fatos históricos do país. A estrutura metodológica aplicada está fundamentada em pesquisas bibliográficas. Dentre os teóricos, temos: Baccega (2007), Bernd (2001), Chaves (1991), Hutcheon (1991), Lucas (1995), Olivieri-Godet (2009) e Pesavento (2004).

  This article analyzes the figure of blacks in Brazil, through the literary representation of the novel An invincible memory (1984), by João Ubaldo Ribeiro. The novel presents the formation of the roots of the Brazilian people, retelling and criticizing the country’s history. From this perspective, it analyzes the fictional and historical landmarks that characterize black people in the novel, establishing the intertextual relationship through the novelistic episodes with the historical facts of the country. The applied methodological framework is based on bibliographic research. Among theorists, we have: Baccega (2007), Bernd (2001), Chaves (1991), Hutcheon (1991), Lucas (1995), Olivieri-Godet (2009) e Pesavento (2004).
