Resumen de Espaços e formas de presença do outro na ficção de Dalton Trevisan

This study presents the issue of the spaces of the Other and of his forms of presence, expressed in non-harmonious social relationship in the "Elephant's Graveyard" tale, by Dalton Trevisan, from the perspective that the reading of literary discourse may provide a debate associated with cultural and philosophical issues. The research was organized according to the thories of Eric Landowski (2002), Hanna Arendt (2014), Homi Bhabha (1998) and Emmanuel Levinas (2010), since these scholars reflect culturally and philosophically on the identity in the contemporary word, on forms of coexistence and on the ethical behavior against the social, racial, ethic, and behavioral differences that make up the existence.

Este estudo apresenta a questão dos espaços do Outro a de suas formas de presença, expressas na relação social não harmônica no conto "Cemitério de elefantes", de Dalton Trevisan, sob a perspectiva de que a leitura do discurso literário pode proporcionar um debate ligado às questões culturais e filosóficas. Organizou-se a pesquisa à luz de teorias de Eric Landowski (2002), Hannah Arendt (2014), Homi Bhabha (1998) e Emmanuel Lévinas (2010), uma vez que esses estudiosos refletem cultural e filosoficamente sobre a identidade no mundo contemporâneo, sobre as formas de convivência e sobre o comportamento ético frente às diferenças sociais, raciais, étnicas e comportamentais que integram a existência.
