The Spanish Civil War was a conflict that delineated the alliances of the upcoming Second World War. Equipment, tactics and strategies were also put to trial in the confrontation between Republicans and Nationalists by the foreign powers that sent aid to the two sides. Particular attention was dedicated to the employ of a new weapon like the Aviation. The paper wants to underline some of the activities that Fascist Italy conducted to test the effectiveness of a modern conduct of war, where there was often no space for the distinction between soldiers and civilians..

La Guerra Civile Spagnola è stato il conflitto che ha delineato le coalizioni della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Anche i mezzi, le tattiche e le strategie furono messe alla prova nel conflitto tra Repubblicani e Nazionali che vide le potenze straniere inviare aiuti alle due parti. Attenzione particolare fu dedicata all'impiego dell'Aviazione. L'articolo vuole sottolineare alcune delle attività che l'Italia fascista realizzò per provare l'efficacia di una moderna condotta di guerra secondo la quale non sempre bisognava tener conto della distinzione tra militari e civili.
