En mil años (de 900 a 1900) Europa pasó de ser irrelevante a dominar el mundo e imponer sus lenguas e ideas. Semejante gesta fue posible principalmente por la organización militar y la tecnología de la pólvora, pero sobre todo por la religiosidad de los combatientes y la cohesión de los grupos reducidos.
Europa, que ha regalado al mundo el humanismo cristiano, está debilitada porque desde su visión ilustrada renuncia a los dioses, ignorando que el hombre es más emocional que racional. Desde la Segunda Guerra Mundial carece de cultura de defensa y, en consecuencia, de respuesta ante las actuales amenazas: el caos en Oriente Medio, los ataques de Rusia y Turquía y el aislacionismo de Estados Unidos.
Solo hay futuro con una esencia espiritual común en que se base la imprescindible unión política y ejército único. Europa se salvará si tiene alma, es decir, si pasa de vivir cómodamente en las actuales generalidades de aceptación universal a enfrentarse a las amenazas con los valores que le permitieron conquistar el mundo.

In a thousand years (from 900 to 1900) Europe went from being irrelevant to dominating the world and imposing its languages and ideas. Such a feat was possible mainly because of the military organization and the technology of gunpowder, but above all because of the religiosity of the combatants and the cohesion of the small groups. Europe, wh ich has given the world Christian humanism, is weak because from its enlightened vision renounces the gods, ignoring that man is more emotional than rational. Since World War II, it lacks a culture of defense and, consequently, a response to the current th reats: the chaos in the Middle East, the attacks of Russia and Turkey and the isolationism of the United States.
There is only a future with a common spiritual essence on which to base the indispensable political union and single army. Europe will be itsel f if has a soul, that is to say, if it passes from living comfortably in the present generalities of universal acceptance to face the threats with the values that allowed it to conquer the world.
