    The purpose of this article is to indicate some of the communicative aspects of the book called “Eu me chamo Antônio”, which was estimated as the second best seller’s book of 2014. This work, before being published, passed through the sieve of online social networks in a fragmented way. This is a single holistic case study and the data collection procedures covered bibliographic review, interview with the author of the book and documentary analysis of social networks on the Internet (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). The semiotic analysis indicated that the reader could read the work in two ways: as individual poems or as a linear novel.

    O objetivo deste artigo é indicar alguns aspectos comunicacionais do livro Eu me chamo Antônio, estimado como o segundo livro mais vendido de 2014. Essa obra antes de ser publicada, passou pelo crivo das redes sociais on-line de maneira fragmentada. Trata-se de estudo de caso único holístico e os procedimentos de coleta de dados abrangem revisão bibliográfica, entrevista com o autor do livro e análise documental de redes sociais na Internet (Facebook, Twitter e Instagram). A análise semiótica indicou que o leitor poderá ler a obra de duas formas, como poemas individuais ou como um romance linear.
