The study introduce two categories of instruments peculiar to the expert examination, the psychiatric examination and the use of tests, highlighting their objectives and manner of application as well as the results which could possibly be expected of them; the article ends by touching upon the issue whether such instruments allow to arrive till the time of the celebration of marriage, reaching an answer "now far then" to queries which are advanced by the ecclesiastical judge.

Lo studio introduce a due categorie di strumenti propri dell'indagine peritale, l'esame psichico e l'utilizzo dei test, evidenziandone obiettivi e modalità di effettuazione nonché i risultati che da essi è possibile attendersi; l'articolo si conclude accennando alla questione se tali strumenti consentano di risalire al tempo della celebrazione delle nozze, trovando una risposta "ora per allora" ai quesiti che il giudice ecclesiastico pone.
