  O lodo do papel reciclado tem potencial para uso como corretivo de solos. Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito do resíduo sobre as características físico-químicas e a fertilidade do solo. Seu teor de umidade e sua granulometria foram controlados para o uso experimental. Foi realizado um ensaio em vasos em delineamento de blocos casualisados, cujo primeiro fator foi a aplicação de doses crescentes do lodo, e o segundo fator, a realização de adubação de cobertura, na implantação de E. saligna. O lodo do papel reciclado aumenta o pH da mistura, sendo também uma fonte de cálcio para o desenvolvimento de plantas. Os teores de magnésio presentes no resíduo não são satisfatórios para o desenvolvimento de E. saligna, mas o resíduo diminui satisfatoriamente a toxidez potencial e aumenta a saturação por bases do solo.

  The sludge from the recycled paper has potential for use as a soil corrective. This study had the objective to evaluate the effect of this residue on the physico-chemical properties and soil fertility. The moisture content and the particle size were controlled for experimental use. It was conducted a test on vases in randomized block design, where the first factor was the application of increasing doses of sludge, and the second factor, the performance of top fertilization, in the implantation of E. saligna. The recycled paper sludge increases the pH of the mixture, with potential for use as soil corrective and is also a source of calcium for the development of plants. The concentration of magnesium present in the waste are not suitable for the development of E. saligna, but the residue decreases satisfactorily the potential toxicity and increases the saturation of the soil.
