    El IES Vicente Espinel celebró en el año 2015 una exposición y una serie de actividades paralelas, que tenían como objetivo recuperar la memoria de las enseñanzas náuticas que se impartieron en Málaga, desde la fundación en 1787 del Colegio de San Telmo hasta su desaparición en 1924 en el Instituto Provincial de calle Gaona.

    Este artículo narra el contenido que tuvo la muestra ubicada en el Aula de Náutica del instituto, donde se encuentra la corbeta didáctica del siglo XVIII que usaban los alumnos en sus clases de Maniobra, junto a otros elementos relacionados con el mar y la navegación.

    In 2015, Vicente Espinel High School carried out an outstanding exhibition and a series of parallel activities that were deeply concerned with recovering the essence of the Nautical Teachings that were offered in Malaga, starting in 1787, the year in which San Telmo School was founded, until 1924, a period that represented its closing, being situated at the Provincial High School in Gaona Street, in Malaga.

    This article relates to the didactic material that was exhibited at The Nautical Classroom in our High School, where the didactic corvette, dating from the XVIIIth century, can be visited. In the previously mentioned century, this corvette was used by the students in their Handlings Lessons. Some other elements concerning the sea and navigation are shown as well.
