Resumen de Algas asociadas a un manglar en el pacifico colombiano. Municipio de Buenaventura - Valle del Cauca

  Durante 5 meses (marzo - julio 2006) se muestrearon macroalgas en un ecosistema de manglar en el Pacifico Colombiano, delimitándose tres zonas, en las cuales se establecieron parcelas (6 mts x 1 mt). Se observó el crecimiento de las algas en las raíces del mangle y las variables físicas del agua (salinidad, temperatura, pH e intensidad lumínica) con el fin de establecer cultivos en el futuro. Se encontraron 3 especies de algas Catenella impudica, Caloglossa leprieurii y Bostrychia sp.; los análisis mostraron quela salinidad esta influenciando el establecimiento de la especie Catenella impudica, puesto que no se registró esta especie en la zona 3 y el alga masapta para cultivo es la Bostrychia sp.

  During 5 months (March - July 2006) seaweed in an ecosystem of mangrove in the Colombian Pacifico were evaluated, delimiting three zones into to mangrove, in which parcels settled down (6 mts x 1 mt). The growth of the seaweed in the roots of mangle and the physical variables of the water (salinity, temperature, pH and luminance intensity) with the purpose of establishing cultures in the future was registered. 3 species of seaweed. Catenella impudica, Caloglossa leprieurii and Bostrychia sp., were registered.The analyses showed that the salinity this influencing the establishment of impudica the Catenella species, since any registry of this species in the zone was not obtained and the species but apt for culture is the Bostrychia sp.
