El equívoco llamado a una militancia filosófica de Alain Badiou

    Quiero defender aquí una lectura doble de la propuesta ético-política de Badiou: por una parte, en tanto que su descripción del acontecimiento abre la posibilidad de una resignificación del orden social en su conjunto y de una idea de resistencia política plausible; por otra parte la derivación de esta resignificación hacia la ética tiende a formalizarse al extremo y, así, a caer en una posición inoperante justo en el medio político y social del que pretendía una renovación. De aquí que su apuesta por una militancia de filósofos acabe por ser equívoca, pues no aclara el papel táctico que tendría dicha militancia.

    I want to defend here a double reading of Badiou’s ethical-political proposal: on the one hand, while his description of the event opens the possibility of a resignification of the social order as a whole, and of an idea of plausible political resistance; on the other hand the derivation of this resignification towards ethics tends to formalize itself to the extreme and thus to fall into an inoperative position precisely in the political and social arena in which it pretended a renovation. As a consequence, his intending for a militancy of philosophers ends up to be equivocal, since he does not clarify the tactical role that such a militancy would have.
