Resumen de Pronóstico histórico de tizón tardío en Aguascalientes

Se utilizó la información de dos estaciones climatológicas en Aguascalientes reunida durante 2005 y 2006 para conocer el funcionamiento del sistema de predicción Wallin de tizón tardío. Se registró un número variable de periodos favorables al tizón tardío en ambas estaciones y años.
Sin embargo, solamente en la estación Don Primo durante 2006 se completaron los valores de intensidad requeridos por el sistema de predicción Wallin. Se concluye que este sistema es capaz de retrasar las aspersiones de fungicidas contra tizón tardío hasta por cuatro meses.

The information gathered in two weather station during 2005 and 2006 in Aguascalientes was used to know the performance of the Wallin forecast system of late blight. A variable number of late blight favorable periods was registered in both weather stations and years. However, only in the weather station Don Primo were completed the intensity values required for the Wallin forecast system. It is concluded that the Wallin system is able to delay the fungicide sprays up to four months.
