The purpose of the study was to check the influence of a didactic speed unit over the jump capacity, linear speed, agility and the engagement motor time applied to a high school group-class. Students from 3rd ESO (n=27, age=14,14 ± 0,36) were recruited and divided into control group (n=14, age= 14,14 ± 0,36) and experimental group (n=13, age= 14,15 ±0,37). Control group realised a didactic unit based on reproduction teaching style and experimental group the production teaching style. The engagement motor time was analysed using the observation by camera and a contact mat for asses the jump height, the Agility-T-test and 30m-dash time. The T Student test was executed, to compare the difference between the independent samples, and the Pearson’s correlation. It was obtained that there were no significant difference between groups (p<0,05) in engagement motor time, jump capacity, linear speed and agility, however, the correlation between jump capacity and linear speed was significant (p<0,01). It is suggested use the production teaching style in didactic speed units due to favours the high school student’s both engagement motor time and physical condition.
