    El objetivo del presente artículo es mostrar el carácter dinámico y complejo de la física en un momento de enorme trascendencia histórica para esta disciplina científica, que podemos identificar con los inicios del siglo XX. A lo largo del artículo ofreceremos diversos elementos de análisis que nos hablan del cambio revolucionario de una disciplina científica, como la física, con sus propias crisis internas, pero también inmersa en un determinado clima cultural e intelectual y una serie de restricciones socioeconómicas que le imponían nuevos derroteros.

    The aim of this article is to show the complex and dynamic nature of physics, in a moment of huge historical significance for the scientific discipline that can be identified with the beginning of the twentieth century. Throughout the article, we offer different elements of analysis which talk about the revolutionary change of a scientific discipline, such as physics, with its own internal crises, but also immersed in a cultural and intellectual climate and a number of socio-economic restrictions that imposed new directions.
