En cualquier sociedad si preguntáramos al ciudadano corriente cuál es punto débil de la justicia posiblemente nos respondería que es la impunidad. Los seres humanos tenemos un sentido innato de justicia que nos indica si aquello que estamos haciendo está legítimamente bien o tiene trazos de mal. La naturaleza humana intrínsecamente se revela contra el concepto de impunidad. Sin lugar a dudas, la impunidad es uno de los conceptos en derecho internacional que más fácilmente se pueden identificar pero más difíciles de solucionar.

In any society if we asked ordinary citizens which is the weakness of justice, we possibly respond "impunity". Humans have an innate sense of justice that tell us if what we are doing is good or has evil traces. Human nature rebels against the notion of impunity. Undoubtedly, impunity is one of the concepts in International Law that can be identified more easily, but also it is the most difficult to solve.
