  • The intention of this contribution is to look for a suitable etymology of the Egyptian word ,,dḥcc" "chamomile". So far, the question appears to have been addressed only once. The present article starts with a connection with the word "wheel with six spokes". It is already apparent at first glance that there is a similar structure of syllabes. The material motivation is the clearly structured, wheel _like flower of the chamomile
