In the present paper we try to disclose the problems which egyptian artists confronted while engraving the KB 316 scene at the Great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak. After looking at the iconographic and epigraphic treatement of the scene, we conclude that this scene should be included in the group of the King's representations receiving the SedFest signs from the hands of a deity
