  • The restoration work carried out in the entranceway to Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Arriola (Asparrena, Álava) affected the immediate vicinity of the religious building, and therefore the theoretical cemetery located in the area. The renovations prompted the archaeological monitoring of the works, with the results attesting to the total de-contextualisation of the original levels and remains.
