Resumen de Educação sexual na infância: pesquisando concepções de professores da cidade de Jataí, Goiás

  The child sexuality is still characterized by a very complex thematic to be taken up. It is possible to see a lack of studies focused on child sexual education. The general aim of this current research is to investigate through nursery and first-year-elementary school teachers, from public and private schools in Jataí – GO their conception and practice about the manifestation of child sexuality in the classroom. The participants were 20 teachers who work on the nursery and the first years of elementary school from public and private schools of the city of Jataí – GO. The dada about child sexuality were collected through a questionnaire. Most of the participants of the sample reported a concept of sexuality appropriate to what is pointed out in the literature. It was confirmed the unpreparedness of the teachers to accept and deal with the sexuality of their students. The educators who participated of the research affirmed to be aware of the work proposal of NCP (National Curriculum Parameters) about sexual orientation, however they affirmed the necessity and the will to be joining new courses about the theme. A little bit more of half of the teachers said to feel prepared and safe to be clarifying the doubts and deal with the theme. Suggestions about how to interfere in a practical way with the students and, thus, build a space of reflection about values and prejudice related to the sexuality are made At the end of this paper.

  A sexualidade infantil ainda se caracteriza como uma temática bastante complexa de ser abordada. Observa-se uma escassez de estudos voltados para educação sexual das crianças. O objetivo geral da presente pesquisa foi investigar junto aos professores da educação infantil e das series iniciais, das escolas da rede municipal e particular de Jataí – GO suas concepções e práticas a respeito das manifestações da sexualidade infantil em sala de aula. Os participantes foram 20 professores da rede pública e particular da cidade de Jataí – GO. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um questionário. A maioria dos participantes da amostra relatou um conceito de sexualidade adequado ao que é apontado pela literatura. Confirmou-se o despreparo que o professor possui para aceitar e trabalhar a sexualidade de seus alunos. Os educadores que participaram da pesquisa declararam-se conhecedores da proposta de trabalho dos PCNs sobre Orientação Sexual, contudo afirmaram a necessidade e a disponibilidade para estarem participando de novos cursos voltados para a temática. Pouco mais da metade dos professores afirmaram sentirem-se aptos e seguros para esclarecer as dúvidas e trabalhar este tema. Sugestões breves sobre como intervir de maneira prática junto aos alunos sobre sexualidade são tecidas no final.
