Galaxy Resources has appointed Simon Robertson as company secretary, following the resignation of Andrew Meloncelli. Robertson is company secretary for several publicly listed companies. Rowen Colman has been appointed CFO of Galaxy. Nicholas Rowley also joins the company as director of investor relations.
Trevor Matthews, MZI Resources Ltd's CEO, has been appointed as managing director, and will join the company's board. Matthews joined MZI Resources in 2012. MZI's finance director Keith Vuleta has stepped down from the company board, though he will remain in the company as the CFO.
Finland-based limestone and lime producer Nordkalk AB has appointed Jarkko Kaplin as CEO, following the exit of former CEO, Bertel Karlstedt, who will join Valmet Corp. in February 2015. Kaplin has been vice president of Pulp Paper and Finland at Nordkalk since 2012.
