  This text intends to highlight the aesthetic, ideological, technical and theoretical aspects that constitute the work of the Soviet filmmaker Sergei Eisenstein, with the objective of evaluating the influence of the director in what was called "revolutionary artistic spirit". His unique records on class struggles influenced left-wing filmmakers and intellectuals and consolidated themselves as an essential building block for a communist society.

  Este texto pretende destacar os aspectos estéticos, ideológicos, técnicos e teóricos que constituem a obra do cineasta soviético Serguei Eisenstein, com o objetivo de avaliar a influência do diretor no que se batizou de “espírito artístico revolucionário”. Seus registros singulares sobre as lutas de classes influenciaram cineastas e intelectuais de esquerda e se consolidaram como peça essencial para a construção de uma sociedade comunista.
