Avatares de la iniciación: identidad, identificaciones y otredades en clave mística en El origen de la tristeza de Pablo Ramos

    A través de una revisión de entrevistas y del análisis de El origen de la tristeza (2004), se aborda la inscripción estética de la obra de Pablo Ramos en el “realismo místico”, atribuido por la escritora y periodista colombiana Laura Restrepo. Para ello, en primer lugar, se señalan determinados rasgos de la poética del autor y la configuración de su escritura a partir de sus declaraciones. En segundo lugar, se analiza la conformación de la identidad de Gabriel Reyes ?voz narrativa protagonista? a partir de su iniciación a aprendizajes vitales, los que modelan identificaciones y otredades vinculadas con el espacio y su experiencia y percepción de lo real en la narración. Asimismo, se presenta una interpretación de dicha iniciación en clave mística a partir de Evelyn Underhill ([1911], [1915]), y que daría cuenta de la estética señalada en los inicios de su escritura. En último lugar, se retoma el sentido de esta obra y de la escritura según el autor para finalizar con reflexiones sobre su poética.

    Through a review of interviews and the analysis of El origen de la tristeza (2004), the aesthetic inscription of the work of Pablo Ramos in the “mystical realism”, attributed by the Colombian writer and journalist Laura Restrepo, is approached. To do this, firstly, certain features of the poetics of the author and the configuration of his writing are approached on the basis of his statements. Secondly, we analyze the conformation of the identity of Gabriel Reyes ‒protagonist narrative voice‒ from his initiation to vital learning, those which model identifications and otherness related to space and his experience and perception of the real in the narration. Also, an interpretation of this initiation in mystical key based on Evelyn Underhill ([1911], [1915]) is presented, which would account for the aesthetics indicated in the beginnings of his writing. Lastly, the meaning of this work and of the writing according to the author is resumed, ending with reflections on his poetics.
