Resumen de Tecnologia assistiva: comunicação alternativa para alunos com paralisia cerebral

  A Tecnologia Assistiva é considerada um campo da Educação Especial destinado a estudar os diferentes tipos de recursos tecnológicos e adaptados para a inclusão da pessoa com deficiência no contexto educacional e social. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar, por meio da Tecnologia Assistiva (TA), as possibilidades existentes de comunicação e educação de alunos com Paralisia Cerebral. A metodologia utilizada foi uma breve pesquisa bibliográfica. Discutimos especificamente o uso da comunicação alternativa, um dos tipos de Tecnologia Assistiva, no atendimento de alunos Paralisia Cerebral. Vimos que estes alunos, em especial, podem se beneficiar com o uso da Comunicação Alternativa, para melhorar e/ou ampliar a sua comunicação, conseguindo através da mesma, se comunicar, relacionar e ser incluído no contexto sócio educacional. Portanto, o presente estudo é relevante para o meio acadêmico, pois traz como contribuições disseminar conhecimentos acerca da Tecnologia Assistiva: comunicação alternativa como sendo mais uma possibilidade de inclusão das pessoas com paralisia cerebral na sociedade, garantindo assim a equiparação de oportunidades.

  Assistive technology is considered a field of Special Education for studying different types of technological resources and adapted to the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the educational and social context. The aim of this study was to identify, through the Assistive Technology (TA), the possibilities of communication and education of students with cerebral palsy. The methodology used was a brief literature review. specifically discussed the use of alternative communication, one of the types of Assistive Technology in the service of students Cerebral Palsy. We have seen that these students in particular can benefit from the use of Alternative Communication, to improve and / or expand their communication, getting through it, communicate, relate and be included in the social educational context. Therefore, this study is relevant to the academic world, it brings contributions to disseminate knowledge about the Assistive Technology: alternative communication as one more possibility of inclusion of people with cerebral palsy in society, thus ensuring equality of opportunities.
