    El objetivo de este trabajo es examinar algunos de los pasajes más representativos de Agustín acerca de las relaciones entre voluntad y emociones con el fin de establecer hasta dónde somos responsables de aquellas acciones que ejecutamos bajo el influjo de una pasión sumamente intensa. Paralelamente se busca esclarecer en qué medida influyó la filosofía estoica en Agustín alrededor de la misma materia.

    In this article, I would like to examine various representative passages by Augustine of Hippo about the relationship between will and emotions, to define the limits of responsibility of human action under the influence of the most intense passion, according to the author. Simultaneously, I will endeavor to determine the impact of stoic philosophy on in Augustine’s approach to the subject.
