    Este texto fue escrito a petición del Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública de Argel, que quería organizar, el 4 y 5 de diciembre del 1991, un encuentro de psiquiatría con motivo del trigésimo aniversario de la muerte de Frantz Fanon. Esta reunión no tuvo lugar debido al contexto político local y la falta de participación de los psiquiatras de Argelia, pero François Tosquelles deseó su publicación en las actas de las Segundas Jornadas de Psiquiatría de Dax.

    This text was written at the request of the National Institute of Public Health of Algiers, which wanted to organize a psychiatry meeting on December 4 and 5, 1991, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of Frantz Fanon’s death. This meeting did not take place due to the local political context and the lack of participation of the psychiatrists of Algeria, but François Tosquelles wanted its publication in the minutes of the Second Journeys of Psychiatry of Dax.
