After briefly introduce elements of archeology and Foucault's genealogy, the article explains the use to Agamben is the Foucault's analysis. The central idea is to show that, unlike Foucault, Agamben does not question the rationale of situations and things, but way or form that occur. The agambenano method is archaeological and paradigmatic in the very near to the Foucault sense, but not completely coincide with it.It is, on the dichotomies that structure our culture, to go beyond the exceptions that have produced, but not to find a chronologically original condition, but rather, in order to understand the situation in which we find ourselves.
