    Analisa o discurso da personagem Maria da Penha, interpretada pela atriz Taís Araújo, da telenovela Cheias de Charme, de Filipe Miguez e Izabel de Oliveira, por meio da aplicação da Análise Crítica do Discurso (ACD). O objetivo é mapear a representação da personagem enquanto empregada doméstica negra brasileira em ascensão social e verificar se tal representação constitui uma perspectiva de mudança na prática discursiva hegemônica de tal categoria profissional e da mulher negra, de um modo geral. A conclusão geral alcançada é que o discurso mantém-se alinhado com o sistema hegemônico apesar de algumas variações.

    This paper analyzes the discourse of character Maria da Penha, played by actress Tais Araujo, in the telenovela Cheias de Charme, written by Philip Migueiz and Izabel Oliveira, through the application of the Critical Discourse Analysis (ACD).The goal is to map the representation of the character while Brazilian black maid in social mobility and verify if such representation is a perspective shift in discursive practice of such profession and of the black women, in general. The reached general conclusion is that the speech remains aligned with the hegemonic system despite some variations.
