    Pocos dudan hoy en día de que el orden internacional está cambiando y el mundo de los próximos años habrá dejado de ser unipolar. Aunque resulta improbable que los Estados Unidos puedan ser sustituidos por otra potencia global, el crecimiento del poder nacional de nuevas potencias emergentes, principalmente de China, está configurando un nuevo orden donde ningún Estado tendrá un poder hegemónico, ni estarán en condiciones de dictar las normas de comportamiento del sistema internacional. El orden internacional va encaminándose hacia un sistema bipolar con dos grandes potencias dominantes, China y Estados Unidos y una serie de potencias menores que orbitarán a su alrededor.

    Few today doubt that the international order is changing and the world of the next years will no longer be unipolar. Although the United States is unlikely to be replaced by another global power, the growth of the national power of new emerging powers, mainly China, is setting a new order where no state will have hegemonic power nor it will be able to dictate the norms ff the international system. The international order is heading towards a bipolar system with two major dominant powers, China and the United States and a series of smaller powers that will orbit around them.
