    In the digital age connectivity is global, the power of digital platforms increases and virtual situations dominate, with clear influences on accommodation to the physical and socio-cultural world and its impact on human existence itself. In this age we recognize challenges and opportunities for different dynamics and transfiguration, however without reducing it to the simple derealization of the world and to the mere impoverishment of human life. Our reflection focuses mainly on education, stressing the importance of humanizing appropriation of digital technologies as inevitable task of philosophy.

    Na era digital a conectividade globaliza-se, o poder das plataformas digitais aumenta e as situações virtuais dominam, com inequívocas influências na acomodação ao mundo físico e sociocultural e consequências na própria existência humana. Nesta era reconhecemos desafios e oportunidades para diferentes dinâmicas e transfigurações, sem a reduzir, todavia, à simples desrealização do mundo e ao mero empobrecimento da vida humana. A nossa reflexão incide, essencialmente, sobre a educação, sublinhando, a importância de uma apropriação humanizante das tecnologias digitais como tarefa inevitável da Filosofia.
