  • Taxonomy and distribution of the Verbascum daenzeri group has been revised. The group comprises four species, three of them endemic to Greece, and the fourth extending to Bulgaria and Turkey-in-Europe.Celsia peraffinis Rech. f., previously sunk into the synonymy of Verbascum boissieri (Heldr. & Sartori ex Boiss.) Kuntze, is resurrected as an independent species and recombined as Verbascum peraffine (Rech. f.) Zografidis & Strid.
