Resumen de Edith Stein y la formación de la mujer.
Edith Stein no es feminista, tal como se entiende hoy. Pero ella se preocupa mucho por el ser mujer. La filosofía y, sobre todo, la fe la ayudaron para expresar su búsqueda. La especificidad de la mujer es la receptividad, la fecundidad. La vocación del ser humano nace de la fe y ambos, hombres y mujeres, colaboran. Es importante que la mujer desarrolle su ser femenino. Hombres y mujeres son iguales en dignidad. No hay que anular las diferencias, sino destacar la complementariedad y la originalidad.Edith Stein is not a feminist, as we understand that concept today. But she is very much concerned with being a woman. Philosophy and, especially, faith helped her to express this search. The specificity of woman is receptivity, fertility. The vocation of the human person springs from faith, and both men and women collaborate. It is important for women to develop their feminine being. Men and women are equal in dignity. It is not necessary to erase the differences, but rather, point out their complementary and original nature.
