This article reports on the research of the human mind and how it lays down memories. Researchers found that some of the "neural cliques" in the mouse hippocampus represent abstract and general information while others indicate selective features. Conversion of recordings of clique activity into binary code could create a foundation for assembling a codebook of the mind.
