  • Resumen
    • The article reports that Dutch scientists have refuted findings by German researchers that plants release the greenhouse gas methane. Emissions from different species of plants were monitored by botanist Tom A. Dueck and his team but showed no signs of methane. Botanist Frank Keppler believes that Dueck's study did not account for variances in methane emissions due to environmental factors.
