  • This article focuses on Internet crime. Law enforcement has been slow to adjust to the radically different conditions of the virtual world. Instead of evidence and eyewitnesses, they have to rely on log files and server activity. Indicators produced by Symantec Corp. show that illegal Internet activity has increased.
