  • Resumen
    • This article focuses on fundamental holes in Internet security. The author claims that the domain name system (DNS) is vulnerable to hackers due to its dependence on IP addresses that continually change. It is possible for a hacker to use the DNS system to reroute traffic from a bank's web site, as an example, to his own computer, where users are fooled into giving over their confidential information. Today's protocols are 35 years old and they need to be improved in order to increase security on the Internet.
